When I ask people to describe Olympia, one word that I hear over and over again is potential. We couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to call home. We are blessed, too, with the bones of an amazing historic downtown and being home to the state Capitol. Over the past few years, I have seen our community gain momentum toward realizing the vision and dreams of our residents. Yet we still have a way to go. I believe you have two options to engage your city: You can either sit on the sidelines and watch its future be shaped by others or you can put some skin in the game and work to create the future your community wants.
I am running because I believe we need innovative, collaborative and action-oriented leaders to ensure we realize the full potential of our great city.
